ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE $40.00 ON RACE DAY RMHC race socks with every entry, to be worn the day of the Run. Register as a team of 20 for $500, receive 20 pairs of race socks and a private tent with VIP amenities.
Las Vegas – Put on your striped racing socks and come run with Ronald McDonald and Las Vegas’ one-and-only Carrot Top at the 12th annual Runnin’ for the House certified 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk on Saturday April 16th, 2016. “We’re excited to have activities for the whole family, such as our Microsoft interactive gaming tent, plus a free pancake breakfast for registrants and an expo booth area”, said Alyson McCarthy, Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Las Vegas. “This is a fun way for families and groups to raise money for a great cause, while exercising and having a good time.” Ronald McDonald himself will do a fun pre-race warm-up at 7:45 a.m. and start the race at 8 a.m. Steph Mackenzie from 97.1 The Point will entertain the crowd as the emcee. Carrot Top will be running in the 5k and will be available for photo opportunities.

Three registration categories are available: Certified 5K Competitive (timed), 5K Non-Competitive (untimed), and 1 mile walk. Jus Run will determine male and female awards three deep in each age division, from 5 years to 70+. Participants can wait until the day of the race to register; fee will be $40.00 for all same day registrants.

All Proceeds from Runnin’ for the House benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas, a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides temporary housing for families who travel to Las Vegas to receive critical medical treatment for their children. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas also supports programs that directly benefit children and families in the Las Vegas area through scholarships, community outreach projects, and the recently opened Ronald McDonald Family Room at Sunrise Children’s Hospital.
